HOW TO REGISTER
If you live within our practice area
and would like to register with us,
please bring your NHS card along to
the Surgery. (If you have lost your
NHS card then the Receptionist will
give you an alternative form to
complete.) Although you will be
registered with the Practice rather
than a specific doctor, should you
prefer to see either of the Doctors
then please let us know and we can
record this on your registration.
You will be given a medical
questionnaire and be asked to make
an appointment for a “New Patient
Medical”. This is a 10 minute
appointment with a Practice Nurse to
discuss your answers to the
questionnaire and measure your
height, weight and blood pressure
and check your urine. If you are on
any form of medication you will also
be given an appointment with a
Doctor.
Temporary Residents
The Doctors are always happy to see
any of your family and friends who
need a doctor for any urgent
problems when they are staying with
you. Similarly, when you are away
from home in the UK you can visit
any local doctor as a temporary
resident, you do not need to
register.
Patients from the UK or the EU will
not be charged for advice or
consultations. However, people
outside of these areas may have to
pay a private fee.
