In order to maintain confidentiality, results will only be given to patients themselves (or to a parent or guardian in the case of a small child). Please telephone after 12 noon and remember that results may take several days to be returned to the Surgery.

We would ask that patients always follow up the results of their blood test,
x-ray etc. We request tests for many patients every week and may not always
realise if a test result has not come back to the surgery. If you do not
hear anything, please do not assume that everything is normal, ring the
surgery and the receptionist will look up your test result. If the doctor
has asked you to book a follow up appointment for your results then please
do so as the doctor will assume that they will be seeing you if any abnormal
results are received.
