INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS REGARDING

WUHAN NOVEL CORONAVIRUS INFECTION 

All travellers who develop relevant symptoms ( for example respiratory symptoms, shortness of breath, cough, fever) however mild, within 14 days of returning or transitioning from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau should not attend the practice, but should remain at home and immediately call NHS 111 for advice.  The latest information for members of the public can be found here:

Community Nurses

The district nurses are available via the surgery to help and advise on health in the home for the frail, elderly and disabled. They can also provide help and advice for carers and liaise closely with Social Services.

District nursing is an independent service which is coordinated out of practice. Please phone them direct on 01608 738190.

Health Visitors

Please telephone 01608 737179 where a message can be left and someone will call you back.

Health visitors offer help and support in the following areas, for example:

Child's growth and development, behaviour difficulties, sleeping, eating, potty training, temper tantrums and teething, breastfeeding, weaning, healthy eating, hygiene, safety and exercise, postnatal depression, bereavement, violence in the family and emotional wellbeing.
